New Teen Programs

In partnership with EWC – Douglas Campus the Boys & Girls Club of Douglas will be running teen programs on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting on January 15 at EWC. Our programs will consist of building drones, resume building, working with budgets, career development and so much more! The cost is only $10 for all the programs we will offer from January 15 – May 9. We will have separate programs for middle school and high school. Programs start at 3:30 pm and last until 5:00 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to learn some life skills and have fun! Teens are welcome to come periodically if they are involved in other after school activities or come as much as they want!

Thank you for your support in 2018!

Big picture

A note of appreciation from our CEO, Michele.

Someone once told me that we have the easiest mission in the world to advocate for. While there are so many missions in the world that truly make a difference, I do have to say that I am a bit biased to the Boys & Girls Club of Douglas mission. Without the support of our donors, we would not be able to fulfill our mission. Our mission gives the kids we serve a safe place to be, engages them in activities that they learn from and an environment where they create friendships and have a caring adult there for them every day when school is out. All of this would not be possible without the caring donors that have given to our mission. Our thank you is this. We needed donors like you this year, and you were there. We are grateful for your generosity and your confidence in our work to inspire and enable those that need us the most.

“Giving is not just about making a donation; it’s about making a difference.” – Kathy Calvin

Thank you all for your generous support in 2018!
