Summer Fun begins at the Boys & Girls Club on Monday, June 5th!
Our goals for the summer are:
1) Academic Success
– Kids will participate in Summer Brain Gain to limit the summer learning slide
– Members will use skills they learned in school in a hands-on manner to solve problems
– Opportunities are provided to members that help them discover their interests and possible career paths
2) Healthy Lifestyles
– Members achieve 60 minutes of activity daily
3) Good Character and Citizenship
– Members are involved in Community Service and Character Building

Prior to Children Attending Parents Must Attend a Mandatory Parent Orientation
All Orientations are held at the Club (135 S 4th Street) at 6 PM

Youth development kicks into high gear over the summer break at the Boys & Girls Club of Douglas.
The Club is open Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM and is available to youth 6 years of age to 18 years of age. Fun learning activities will take place throughout the day and weeks including:
Summer Brain Gain – A program to prevent the summer learning slide
Ultimate Journey – A science program to explore area natural resources
Eureka – Fun, hands on projects learning about space, inventions and rockets
Swimming at the City Pool
Field Trips to area sites
Outdoor play at local parks
and much much more!

To Infinity and Beyond – Join the Boys & Girls Club of Douglas for an evening of dining, silent and live auctions and speaker Steven Carpenter who will speak about Wyoming’s Energy industry and progress that is being made by the University of Wyoming Energy Resources Department.
