The mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Doulgas is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.. Throughout its history, the Boys and Girls Club has focused on meeting the needs of children as they grow to young adults. The Club helps them to help themselves, to realize their full potential for the development and improvement, and to become responsible citizens with the skills necessary for living. |

Brandy Cecil, Unit Director Brandy has been employed with Boys and Girls Club of Douglas since its beginning, and assumed the position of Unit Director in 2010. Brandy has a true passion for youth and a special talent for relating to the members. When Brandy walks through the club she is like a mama goose with a trail of goslings behind her. Brandy does a phenomenal job of using creative techniques to teach kids without them knowing they are learning a lesson. |
Amy Irene-Sonesen, Chief Professional Officer Amy came to the Boys and Girls Club in September of 2010. As a native of Converse County, Amy understands the community and the need the Boys and Girls Club of Douglas serves. With a degree in Marketing from the University of Wyoming, Amy uses her marketing and buiness skills to tell the story of the Club, obtain grant funding, bring creativity to the Club, and head fundraising activities. Amy says "seeing the positive changes that are made with members of all ages is what keeps me motivated to do more for our kids at the Club."
